Intercontinental Downtown LA

While working at A3 Visual, I collaborated with the Intercontinental in Downtown LA, which needed a new wall mural for the lobby and graphics for their employee cafeteria to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of their spaces.

I managed the design for this project, overseeing the creation of a lobby mural featuring a landscape of Downtown LA with the Intercontinental Hotel, which required extensive photo retouching and careful image selection. Additionally, I was responsible for designing modern and effective recycling signage for the employee cafeteria, ensuring the graphics were visually engaging and bilingual (English and Spanish).

For the lobby mural, I carefully selected, retouched, and refined images to create a seamless and striking representation of Downtown LA with the hotel as the focal point. For the cafeteria graphics, I conducted research on effective recycling signage and designed a modern, easy-to-understand bilingual system that enhanced functionality and sustainability efforts.

The final lobby mural provided a visually stunning addition to the hotel’s atmosphere, reinforcing the Intercontinental’s presence in the city skyline. The cafeteria signage successfully improved clarity and engagement, making waste disposal more efficient for employees while supporting eco-friendly initiatives.
